I think finding flash drives is kinda broken, now that alot of people grind PC Blocks. Atleast for low level players. PC Blocks and Safes (dorms) are highly contested right now. So the only loot chance you have are Drawers and Hidden stashes (I have done like 15 Stash raids with 10-11 hidden stashes each raid, and I have found 0 Flash drives).Honestly it makes choosing to take a fight or run to extract worth it. That skill only shows you more valuable items first btw, not makes them more common. so if you opened a container with a GPU and a pack of matches you will see the GPU first. This, scav reserve and go into the bunker area. There's 5 or so fing cabinets nobody ever loots, found all mine here.

The best place generally to look is filing cabinets. PC blocks never spawn flash drives inside them but rather sticking out of their front. If you do not visually see a flash drive sticking out of their front then you could skip searching it if you plan on simply finding flash drives.
