Great mpg (40s), even full with passengers and luggage. The engine is powerful (plenty of power even at 60-100mph). The transmission is nice and fast and the car loves getting up to highway speed. The 1.8t from 2015-2018 is probably the most reliable Jetta engine ever built in my opinion. Maybe some carbon buildup here and there.
