I have been a revolver person forever and this is my first foray into the world of the semi-automatic. He knocked what he called the $350 disposable 380 pistols that would never pass Sig's testing. So I'm thinking the P365 380 will be the same or $50 less than the present P365.I'll go say $459. P365, P365X both Two Tone & w/Magguts +2 / P365-380 (wife's carry)At least for me the Kahr ergonomics are just a little off, while the 9mm P365 is very good. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. Someone mentioned recoil with a 230 grain Gold Dot in the Kahr P45.Milling we'll say $200.00. (give or take) At $600.00 that's more than the initial cost of a P365 to add a Red Dot. So..if you get a P365 for $500.00 and the Red Dot for $600.00 you now have an $1,100.00 P365 setup. If I had $1,100.00 to spend on a Red Dot setup I do not think that it would be a P365.

The post by dsk clearly demonstrates the P365 to be capable at distance, however, it also clearly demonstrates the results were achieved by the operator and not the P365.

The 12 round extended mags from the standard P365 can work but you need to change out the magazine base pad. The 10 rounders won't work unless they are the restricted versions of the XL magazine.

A new OR P365 Tacpac is on sale at PSA for $579, I'd guess used that gun would be $475-$500 ish. No clue on SAS, but perhaps a bit lower due to lower demand. P365 are pretty popular despite the market not exactly being on fire at the moment. No warranty on a used gun, something to bear in mind.

The article, linked below, seems to be a pretty objective evaluation of the accuracy improvement of the (non-threaded) True Precision barrel on a P365.
